The Latest

We have great news!!  After living and renting here in Tea for one year, we've found a house that fits our needs.  We decided to expand our search to southwest Sioux Falls as we didn't find exactly what we wanted in Tea.  The first day we were out actively looking, we found "the one."

It's a ranch style home with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths.  We'll have plenty of room for guests and a lovely yard for playing and growing flowers! Its only 6 miles from the church in Tea and about the same for me to get to work.  Our closing date is April 27 and we plan to move in shortly after.

In other news, we will be eliminating our home phone line within the next week.  We will keep our cell phones the same so please make sure you have those numbers.

Still alive and well.

I know, I know.  It's about time for some new photos and maybe a little news.  Life has been busy lately. In case you hadn't heard, Wayne's colleague Pastor Greg Johnson, has taken another call and the congregation celebrated his ministry and bid him farewell this past Sunday.  That leaves Wayne with quite a bit more "to do" and with some new responsibilities during the transition.  He has stepped up with great enthusiasm and is getting great support from the wonderful folks in Tea.  

Well, here's a few snapshots of the past few days.

Catching Up

Women of Faith Conference in St Paul, MN  October 21-22.  Celebrating my mom's birthday together with thousands of other women!  The first day we sat up here to avoid the steps.  Then we sat on the floor for the rest of the event.  Up close!!

Wayne and I took a weekend away to Minneapolis early in November.  Finally got to see and eat at our friend's bakery and restaurant -- Sun Street Breads.  Awesome!  It was refreshing and restful to visit friends and family, eat some nice meals, and generally wind down for a bit.

Took a walk with LeAnne and Martin and appreciated the lovely weather.
