Florida 2013

Finally some pictures from our trip to Florida Jan 30 - Feb 6.

We flew into Fort Lauderdale and rented a car.  We drove to the Duncan Conference Center where Wayne attended a 'Head of Staff' training conference that he found very helpful.  Debbie had free time to visit, shop, walk on the beach, and mostly sit by the pool!!

After the conference we drove south through the Florida Keys and stayed for 3 nights in Key West.

Each evening there is a Sunset Celebration at Mallory Square.

 We read about Garbo's Grill and that it was one of the highest rated places to eat in Key West.

Christmas Brunch

This was Christmas Day... the day we had planned on having Christmas brunch with Travis, Lisa and Aubrey. Unfortunately this was day 4 of the "sickness" so we got together to skype with Eric and Kristy and postponed the brunch.  While it was great to see and visit with Eric and Kristy, poor Aubrey didn't even feel up to visiting with us or with Uncle Eric and Aunt Kristy.

By Saturday, December 29, one week after she got sick, Aubrey was finally up for
Christmas brunch and opening presents.  They gave us a family portrait.
A perfect gift and reminder of the fun summer gathering we enjoyed!

Grandma Day - at the Zoo

Today Aubrey and I attended a zooclub class at the Great Plains Zoo.  The kids learned about reindeer, did an art project, listened to a story, and got to walk through the zoo.

Two Pastor Installation Sunday!!

The Bishop presided over the service of installation of Wayne as Lead Pastor 

and Jess as Associate Pastor.   It was a very exciting day!!
